well I guess you didn't have to wait to long to read this update... while I am in the blogging spirit I better just get the whole year out of the way!! so where did we leave off.... that right SUMMER!!!

So we got Trent a y-bike for Easter and he HATED it. so we took it back and got a specialized bike! lets just say all he wants to do is ride his "bikey"

We also went on a little family Vacation. It was a road trip up the coast all the way to San Fransisco. It was fun we stopped at a few fun places and got to go over the Golden Gate Bridge see all the cool San Fransisco hills and so on.

Here are just a few ways have have learned to keep cool during the summer...

Memorial Day! This has always been a special day for me. Having a day to remember my Grandparents who have passed away. But when Joseph passed away It has made Memorial day even more special. Even though we remember our son every day It is nice to have a special day for him and all the other people that we love who have passed on. It was Great going up to the Joseph grave and placing flowers and a flag on his grave stone. It will be a good way to help our other kids remember their brother. xoxo

Happy 4th of July!! What a Fun day this was. We started off the day by going to the church and having breakfast! On our way home from breakfast we decided to stop by the Mariners park, well little did we know but there was a HUGE carnival going on at the park! So instead of going and playing on the swings we got to go to a fun carnival! couldn't of asked for a better surprise. Then we came home lit our own fire works then decided to head down to Newport Dunes and watch the fire work show. It was Fantastic. We sat right at the water so trent went "swimming" while we watched the fire works. My favorite part was just laying on the beach with my 2 boys and enjoying our freedom! I love the USA.

Happy Birthday to my swee Husband!!! July 24th is not only Pionear day but it is Scott's birthday! I'm so glad I'm married to Scott. I think I got pretty lucky. You rock sweet heart.

Next on the Birthday Line up is Trent! He Turned 2 on Aug 7!! my little man is growing up. We had a ton of fun. First we started off my having a Birthday party and my sister Kathryn and her kids were there to celebrate as well as Trents "Mauna" Grandma Gneiting. Then we had a Party where we invited all of Trents friends and they had a blast sliding down a bouncy slide! So glad to have my sweet little 2 year old! Love you Trentster.

next birthday is our sweet little Joseph Aug 11!! He would have been turning 3! We went and got some flowers and balloons and took them to his grave and when we came home we had a little party just me Trent and Scott. We miss our little guy and not a day goes by that I don't think of him xoxo

alright Next up is the OC Fair! We went to the Fair with our Friends Emily and Rob! It was so much fun they have a little guy who is 6 months older than Trent and they are BEST OF FRIENDS. We loved the fair and we loved the company! can't wait for the fair next year!

Gneiting Family Massive Update.

WOW. It has been WAY to long since I have blogged. I am thinking that it is something I am going to start doing again! My thought was that I was going to start blogging again when I got pregnant and was on bed rest, ya know something to keep me busy, but I figured I should start NOW to prepare my self to be doing it more often!! P.S. I am not pregnant.

OK so I don't even know where to Start. There have been so many thing since Trent's 1st birthday! so I will start off with the major events of the year! fair warning this will be a VERY long post full of mostly pictures and not words, I'm not the best writer. Plus I like seeing pictures more than reading.

Halloween 2010
Trent was a Lion while Scott and I were Mummies. I spent days working on our mummy costumes and felt very proud of the way they came out!

Next was Thanksgiving and Christmas! I wish I knew were more of my Christmas pictures were but I don't and that is a real tragedy but The blog must go on! Christmas was really enjoyable. Trent really got into opening the presents and of course played with the paper more than the present, I knew it would happen so why I spent so much money on presents....it was really for me :) this picture is of him helping us decorate the tree...or should I say undecorated

After Christmas was new years and Valentines Day! I grew up with a really fun Tradition where we make rice crispy treats for and shape them into the letter of the fist name. Then you decorate them and leave them at the door step, ring the bell, and wait for the kids to open the door and find the surprise! We didn't do the door bell part this year but we made the rice crispy and it was alot of fun!

Bring on Easter!! well actually before Easter I had the Time of my life and ran my First Ragnar!! A Ragnar is a relay race with 12 people. I ran with 11 of my friends from my old ward. Our Team name was "Feel The Burn" and boy did I do just that! Each person runs 3 legs and all of my legs were around 7 miles. The race its self was from Huntington Beach, CA to Coronado Island San Diego, CA. Proud to have ran this race! My sweet husband, Trent, Brother Justin, Mom, and Sister Micaela all welcomed the team at the finish line!

I could add a million Pictures and I might do that in a later post but for now this post will be long enough.
Bring on Easter! Easter was so much fun! Trent was at a perfect age. He loved collecting the eggs and the real joy was when he found out the were full of Candy! He also loved all the presents the Easter Bunny brought him. but as for the Easter bunny him self....not so much. The things Trent got for Easter were, A new Y-bike, Candy, and a Buzz and Woody toy set.

Next in the year was spring.....

Well I may have lost some of you but I don't even know if anyone reads this blog any more so really this is for me :)
As we continue through the year the next stop will have to be Disney Land. Disney Land is like a major thing in our family. as many of you know Scott and I went on our honey moon to Disney, Scott bought me my first Dinsey pass when I first moved to Cali. So Disney is a big part of our lives. We go all the time. around the spring summer time Trent was totally into Donald Duck. as well as Buzz and Woody. But he was in awww when he saw Donald. It was really cute.

Birthday time Has come!!

Scott started out birthday Fun on July 24!! We celebrated by packing up the car and heading off for Lake Powell!! that will be another post for another day.
Next was Trents 1st Birthday on Aug 7!! We had so much fun. I can't believe that he is now 1. here are some pictures of us celebrating!

He was so cute but had no idea what was going on at first. This was his cute little face for the majority of opening his presents, he was so confused but by the time he had all his presents we was loving everything.
Some of our guests that came to his birthday party were my brother Justin, scotts cousin Thomas, and Grandma and Grandpa Gneiting
The missionaries also came by to say hello and bring Trent a little present. It was fun having them with us because both Scott and I have sibblings on a mission.
Last but not least we brought out the Cake!!!
He started off slow with the cake and with every bite he would say,"MMMMMMM" It was so cute
then he finly did it, He went in face first! He absolutly LOVED THE CAKE!
We had such a blast for Trents bithday and can't wait for next year!! THEN we celebrated Josephs birthday on Aug 11!! I honestly can't believe that he is 2, these 2 years have flown by. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of my little boy but I am just so glad that he is mine forever. We love and miss you baby Joseph!! Happy Birthday Baby Boy!
And last but not least is MY BIRTHDAY, today Aug 26!!!
We have some fun plans for toinght!! were going to the BEACHCOMBER which is one of my favorite restaurants because it is right on the beach!!! I seriusly love summer and ALL our birthdays!!! Happy Birthday to everyone in my sweet little family!!! I love you all!!

Happy late 4th of July!! I hope you had a great long weekend like we did. We had a lot of fun just relaxing and enjoying each others company. On the 4th we had a fun little BBQ with some neighbors on our front lawn and then had some fireworks with the same neighbors. It was really fun Trent had just woken up so he was kind of afraid of the fireworks so Scott held him a little ways away. Once it was really dark we drove to the back bay to watch multiple firework shows. we saw Newport Dunes, Newport Country Club, Balboa and a couple from maybe Huntington and of course the Costa Mesa fire work show. I couldn't get my camera to work in the dark so I don't have any of those pictures but we had fun.

I'm so glad to be an American. Happy Independence Day everyone.

Also I hope you enjoy my BIG update. I have 4 or 5 new posts. I can't believe how long it has been since i have updated!! I hope you Enjoy seeing what we have been up to!

My Little Man

Trent is now 11 MONTHS I can't believe it. His birthday is in Less than a month, Aug 7. He is changing so much and is SO MUCH FUN! Hs loves climbing up the stairs but doesn't really know how to get down them yet, He Loves getting into everything,Dog food is one of his favorite. the other day I herd a loud CRASH and ran into the other room, Trent had pulled down a burning candle and luckily didn't get burned but sadly I can't say the same for the carpet :) I was too flustered to get a picture. Not only does he get into everything but he LOVES to talk. he just babbles all the time and I love hearing it.
Here are some pictures over the past few months of Trent. I know there are alot but what can I say he is just so cute and I love showing him off:)

As you can see he also LOVES toilet paper. I herd him playing in the bathroom one day and didn't really think anything of it, so I just let him play but then it was just a little to quiet so I poked my head inside the bathroom and I saw that he had pulled down all the toilet paper. So I walked in and Said, "what are you doing little guy?" and he just took off. It was the funniest thing,I'm glad I had my camera. Seriously I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stage and I just can't get enough of my little man and I will have to say I'm getting a little sad but happy too that he will be 1 year old next month. He is growing up so fast. I love you Trent.

Disneyland and GG

We had a great couple of weeks in May/June when Grandma Gneiting "GG" came to visit! we had a lot of fun. One of the fun things that we did was we went to Disneyland! Even though I am getting older and older I can never get enough Disneyland! Having Trent makes it even more fun!!

I know picture over Load but there were just so many cute pictures of Trent that I couldn't help myself! I can't believe how big he is getting and what a little cutie he is. Thanks GG for coming to visit we can't wait to see you again in August for Trent's 1st BIRTHDAY!!

Ok ok ok I know i am really behind on posting. I wanted to show everyone what I did for my Sweet mother and mother in law for mothers day.

Trent was such a cutie Pie and trooper and LOVED/HATED being painted but in the end the final project turned out far cuter than I thought it would.

seriously i can't get enough of my sweet little baby boy who is getting bigger every day and will be turning 1 in less than a month, ahhhh i can't believe it. Happy Mothers Day to all mothers.

Happy Memorial day everyone!!! This has been a very sweet weekend for us we were able to reflect on the wonderful lives of the wonderful people that have touched our lives before they returned to our Heavenly Father.
It was fun to reflect on all the fun memories we have had with our Grandparents who have passed away but I mostly reflected on my sweet little Joseph. I dont usually have alot to say about Joseph because my heart is still very tender with his passing and I have a really hard time putting words down on paper but what I can say is that I am SO glad to know that Famlies are Forever and just how overall greatful I am for the gospel. I seriously love my little Family.

Oh man how I love my 2 little guys. there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about my little Joseph and how I feel honored and blessed to be his mommy. I also feel so blessed to be Trents mommy He is the most amazing little man, I couldn't ask for a better son.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend, I know that we did.
We love and miss you Joseph.

so my mom called me up a month or so ago and offered to give me her old piano, the one I learned how to play piano on. So of course I accepted. The only issue is that we didn't have a way of getting it from utah to california. so of course she was so awesome and loaded it up in her car and drove it down this past week, and we LOVE it. It looks amazing in our house!

Trent also loves it and i will have to say it looks like we have a baby mozart on our hands! what do you think?

This past week was such a great week. My little brother Josh and my mom came down for a fun weekend trip to go surfing before Josh, my baby brother, leaves for a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, more to read later on in post.
While they were here not only did Josh get some surfing time in but Trent also got his first ride on a surf board:)

Uncle Josh was so great and showed trent the ways of the pro surfers.

Daddy and Trent just hanging out while mommy and uncle Josh were out tearing it up.

While Josh and my mom were down here we went to the Beach and had a fun time doing a beach fire. I always love a good beach fire, it is probably one of my favorite things to do. the fire roasted hot dogs, the smoke, the fire, the warmth, the cold, everything just makes it so much fun and having family to join in on the fun makes it even more fun.

I also just want to post how proud i am of my little brother Josh, he has been called to service a mission in louisiana baton rouge. Scott and Trent and I are so proud of you Joshie and we love you!!! GOOD LUCK!!

I always love when family comes to visit and it was such a blast having my mom and Josh come and visit!!! we sure are proud of Josh and can't wait to see him in 2 years!!

While we had that crazy rain storm we decided that we would go to the beach to see how crazy the waves were.

while we were there Trent got his first taste of sand :) he LOVED it, and can't wait to eat more :)

this is his first time this year to the beach!! yeah next time hopefully it will be warm and not freezing.

I love Scott and Trent. I couldn't ask for a better son or a better husband. Love you guys.

Lets talk about RAIN!!! holy cow. If any of you have been watching the weather for California you will know what I'm talking about. for the past week we have just been down poured on. homes are being flooded, streets are being flooded, and we are even getting Tornado warnings. It is so crazy.

this picture does NOT do the rain justice. There are some puddles

that go half way up my leg.

yesterday while Scott and I were out and about we ran into this puddle

that was more like a lake. All 4 tires were in the water and the car was in a pretty

large amount of water. It was really fun, but a little scary because

all the water was splashing up on the windshield making it so we couldn't see AT ALL.

this rain is CRAZY.

Only blocks away from our house people are Kayaking in the roads. Or should I say in what use to be roads and now rivers.

Our House is located right by this drainage ditch, usually this ditch is EMPTY. EMPTY=no water what so ever. Now look at it... it is over half way full. it is INSANE.

This picture shows the amount of water that is pouring into the ditch ALL day.

There are spouts like this located throughout the whole ditch pouring INSANE amounts

of water.

Not only are we dealing with large amounts of water but were also dealing with

POWER OUTAGE.

yesterday our power was out from 12:00pm to 12:00am

the biggest bummer about that was we missed

AMERICAN IDOL. :(

This pictures was taken while the power was out. If you look out the

window you can see how dark it is.

No lights were on at all and so it was a little creepy

The rain is suppose to stop tomorrow lets hope the drain can hold 2 more days worth of water :)

Being in this situation with no power and loads of water and Tornado warnings and stuff has really

made Scott and I realize how important getting

our 72 hour kits prepared
and our food storage in order and things like that prepared for situations just like this.

p.s. I know I have been horrible with blogging but I will be better

I seriously can't get nough of this guy!! He is so cute and so funny. He smiles all the time and he LOVES the dogs.

All day he just tries to grab the dogs and he just loves watching them paly togher.

oh man I seriously just LOVE this little guy, and i'm glad that

the dogs love him too.

OK I think this is so cute. Trent has learned to suck his thumb.

I have decided that I am ready to let him cry himself to sleep instead of me rocking him to sleep before naps and bed time. Trent happens to be a total Binky boy but when he spits it out while crying himself to sleep he can't grab it yet and put it back in his mouth, thus he has learned the art of sucking his thumb to calm himself down. I personally think it is so cute! I guess when the time comes we will have to break him of the habit but until then enjoy that thumb baby boy!

Disney Land anyone?

One of the wonderful advantages of living in California is that in Novemeber you can be wearing Shorts and a short sleeved shirt and walking around in Disney Land with beautiful blue skys. I just love that.
For those of you that REALLY know Scott and I, you know we LOVE Disneyland!!! that is where we went on our first date, Honeymoon, and just regular dates. So we decided it was time to take Trent.This trip was actually not his first tirp. His first trip to disneyland was when he was 1.5 weeks old. Scotts parents came down to visit us and took one day and played at disneyland so we decided to go and watch the firework show with them. Sitting on the hard ground for 2 hours waiting for the show to start was not the most comfortable thing to do but it was really fun.Any ways Trents first rides at Disney Land were, Pirates, which is my all time favorite, and the Haunted Massion, Decorated for Halloween and Christmas. I don't think he really Knew what was going on but it was fun for Scott and I. We were going to take him on Small World but it was closed down because they were decorating it for Christmas

Trent was all smiles and loved being at disneyland!

We sure do love this little guy!

Happy Halloween!!So maybe we are a couple season behind. better late than never though.

So Trent was a Pumpkin for halloween and just charmed everyone who saw him.

we love our little guy and it was so much fun to share halloween

with him . We decided that we would go down to Balboa Island for dinner and to just walk around

and look at decorations. whilel we were walking we passed a candy

shop that was handing out salt water taffy, scotts favorite candy,

and so we stopped and loaded up,

one thing that i think is funny is that after we got some Trick or Treat

candy we then proceded into the store and

BOUGHT

candy.

who does that?

WE love our little pumpkin and Halloween was so much fun with him

we can't wait for next year when he will

be walking and getting candy from everyone!

oh man we just love our little guy.

he is getting so big and and happy. I am happy to say he is sleeping through the night

and is so content all the time.

we have such a wonderful boy.

These 2 pictures amaze me. this picture was taken october 31.and this picture was taken just 1 week later. I can't believe how strong he got in just 1 week.

it is so crazy This pictures was taken when trent was about 1 month old . He has always been

a really strong baby and has been able to support his

head from almost day one.

I took this pictures today. I swear Billy loves trent so much
ray could care less for trent but billy always wants to be right there laying on trent
so far trent loves the dogs and watches them
when ever they start playing.

As for Trent when i took him in for his 2 month check up this is what we found out

Lenght: 100% off the charts. He is like 27 inches, as long as a 4 month old

weight: 75% 12 lbs

Head: 10%

so trent is this long heavy baby with a little head.

maybe that is why he can

hold his little head up :)

I walked up stairs the other day to find Scott reading to Trent.... They were so cute bonding together. The funny part of the matter is he wasn't reading him just any book.....NO

M.O.B: Missing on Blogger.I have been a total slacker on the blog i know it. work has been really busy and we also went on a vacation to utah, pictures to come, but here are some cute pictures of "The Boy" untill I get pictures from this weekend. Heat Wave... Need I say more?

I'm glad it is finally cooling offTub a little too small???

When The Boy was born he didn't love baths but now he does.

and yes we have upgraded from that little plastic containor and now

have an AMAZING real baby tub!!

As for how were all doing, Scott is doing awesome just working away and growing

our businesses,

I'm loving being a mom and loving figuering out how to jugle work and a baby,

The Boy, is just growing so much every day is becoming more of a little person

every day!

Last but not least the Dogs, all i can say is AHHHHHH.

they may not be with us much longer;) the dogs are driving me insane

but we love them anyways hopefully they become more use

to The Boy being here and stop destroying my house.

The Boy

isn't he just so stiken cute!!!

here are a few things we have been up to these past few weeks since we have been home from the hospital. my sweet mother-in-law came the day we got discharged from the hospital and has been with us helping us out ever since. She has been so wonderful and the best help ever. I also have just been super sick with a breast infection with a fever of 104 degrees, it was so bad I couldn't do anything so she took Trent with her all day and even slept with him and took care of him all night so I could sleep and get better. Seriously she wins the best grandma award.

Also we all decided that we would head down to the beachcomber at Crystal Cove to celebrate Scotts birthday 7/24, My birthday 8/26, Josephs birthday 8/11, and trents birthday 8/7. it was alot of fun and Trent did so good slept almost the whole time just woke up to eat and that was it!!we got blessed with such a great little boy all he does is sleep eat and poop!! we also bought him this swing that he LOVES and it just puts him to sleep it is great. seriously he is the cutest little guy.My two favorite and most handsome guys ever. I am so lucky!!I can't believe how big he has gotten since he has been home from the hospital. He is just so cute I love this little guy so much. Also I got the one of the greatest suprises while I was still in the hospital. My Mom, sisters Micalea and Natalie, and brother Josh drove from Utah to come see Scott and Trent and I in the hospital. They got in on Saturday night around 9 pm stayed and played with us in the hospial untill about 11 pm then went to my house to sleep. then came back Sunday morning for a few hours and then when I got discharged we said our goodbyes and they drove back to Utah.

I couldn't believe they drove all that way from Utha to come and see us just for that short amount of time. I'm so glad they did because it was so fun seeing them. Love you guys!!! Thanks amillion!!

YEAH THE BABY IS COMING!!!

so I went to the doctors yesterday and set up a day to be induced.... so the baby will be here for sure be here by Aug 20, 2009!!! were so excited. we also got checked to see where were at and right now we are 90% effaced and dilated to a 3 so lets see if we have the baby before or if we go all the way to the inducement date...... it will be like a game. ha ha. Also our due date is Aug. 19, 2009 so if this baby waits until then then we will have gone over our due date. so much for the bed rest right?!? ha ha ha. So who knows what our next post will be about. Maybe it will be about the Basball game we have tickets for on Friday, Or about the baby, Or about something else who knows :)

37 weeks 2 days.

It has been a while since we have done an update, I was hoping the next update would be of the baby but oh well you don't always get what you want :).

I am now 100% off bedrest and have done EVERYTHING to go into labor. Scott and I went to the fair, I have been running, Cleaning, Shopping, lifting, anything active you name it i've done it and look where it got me, still pregnant :).

I have had NO contractions what so ever since I have been off bedrest, and there is no part of me that feels like the baby is coming any time soon. ha ha ha. So part of me is thinking that maybe I should go back to bed and maybe this baby will come:)

So as for now I'm enjoying my time with Scott and actually having alot of fun jumping around and doing normal things, Tonight were going to the place we first met to have a bon fire and roast hot dogs. Maybe that will inspire the baby to come :) but if not I am fine with that. I just now have to tell my self that its ok if i'm pregnant in 5 weeks from now, its best for the baby.

the MOMMY BRAIN!! So here I am laying on the couch looking at peoples blogs. When I hear Scott say,as he is talking to a friend. " We should have you over for dinner after the baby comes."

I looked up at him and said who is that and when is their baby coming?

he just looked at me..... then I realized he was talking about us

and our baby. I didn't even think for a second that he was talking about us, in fact i kind of forgot I was pregnant.

Almost one year later but they finally got Josephs headstone in place. These things take a long time to get placed I guess. The funeral home was great and called me the day the headstone was set, Yesterday Friday the 17th, here is what it looks like.

Even though I'm on super strict bed rest I wanted to go see how the newly placed headstone looked so Scott and I took a little field trip, don't tell my doctor ;). I think it looks great, I really don't think we would have done anything different with it because it looks perfect. I also thought I would do a sibling shot. Even though we know Joseph isn't even there I though, "hey why not." So heres my LARGE, and in charge, belly and Joseph

As for a baby update everything is still the same. We haven't had the baby yet but my contractions are getting more Painful/Strong but at least they are not to steady. I just have to last until Wed. and then you will be hearing me say, "BRING IT ON" Pregnancy is great but I'm feeling so tired of it so hopefully going to the Fair, Disneyland, beach, walks, grocery shopping, etc.. will get this baby on the move!!! I just hope that I don't go past my due date which is 32 days away from today,wow, wouldn't that be Ironic. Have a great night and enjoy the rest of the weekend!!

I thought a picture if Icecream would be great for this post since icecream and pregnant women go hand in hand ;)
So Scott and I have had a pretty crazy week. With my last post I had mentioned I was back on bedrest. Well its only gone down hill from there. Every Day this week we have been in the hospital with contractions and trying to get them to stop.
On Wednesday the doctor decided it was time to take my stitch out since I was already 90% Ephased and i was well on my way to ripping through my cerclage.
After they took my stitch out they sent me home on complete no moving only laying down bedrest. For the next two weeks because the doctor said he will not stop this baby from coming.

Thursday night rolled around and there we were back in the hospital with contractions that were 2 min apart. The doctor told us to head on over to the hospital. As soon as I got there they checked me and I was 100% ephased and dialted to a 1 and in the early stages of labor. Because i'm only 34 weeks and only dialted to a 1 the doctor changed his mind and told the nurse to give me a few different things to stop the labor from progressing.

So now I am home laying flat on my back taking some med. that stops my body from contracting, and just waiting for these 2 weeks to fly by. Once I hit 36 weeks then i'm free to do whatever I want. So i'm hoping that I can keep this little one inside for just a few more weeks so that it doesn't have to spend the first weeks in the NICU.

Hopefully with in the next few weeks you will be reading wethere it is a little boy or girl that we have brought into this world!!! were really excited!!

I THINK I CAN..... I THINK I CAN.... I THINK I CAN.....

I think they should make a book for pregnant women that goes something like that book. I went into my doctors appointment today and got sent to the hospital to get some ultrasounds and monitoring done because I was having some medium sized contractions and a little bleeding. Come to find out my cervix has gone from its steady 3.4 down to 1.9.....eek. Yes it is normal for your cervix to shorten later on during the pregnancy but at 34 weeks the cervical length should be at 2.5 NOT 1.9. I was discharged from the hospital, after they had gotten my contractions to stop, on one conditiong..........

BACK TO BED REST.....thats right back to bed rest.

Just what every free woman wants to hear right. So yes I should have listened to my sweet husband who told me just to wait 2 more weeks untill the stitch comes out to start doing things. I should have listened to my doctor who told me I could go off bed rest in 2 more weeks......So now i'm just saying I THINK I CAN.... I THINK I CAN.... I THINK I CAN stay on bed rest for 2 more weeks, while my husband says I KNEW YOU SHOULD....I KNEW YOU SHOULD...I KNEW YOU SHOULD.

One bad thing from my adventure off of bed rest is that I now can't do ANYTHING at all for the next 2 weeks because my cervix is now just so short. Before it went baby, cervix, stitch, cervix. NOW it is Baby, stitch, cervix. That means a couple different things, First: It is super uncomfortable for me when ever I have any sort of contractions/braxton hixe or even if the baby moves alot because the stitches pull and rip, and let me tell you it really hurts. Second: It is bad for my cervix, and future pregnancies, if it rips through the stitches, so if I keep contracting, which I will if I do ANYTHING, then the stitch will have to come out, which means the baby will come out, and the baby really needs 2 more weeks to cook. So I have to tell me self I THINK I CAN... I THINK I CAN... I KNOW I CAN....

I am going to say a few more things then i will end this long post.

First: Listen to your husband. He only wants the best for you, and baby in my case :). Second: Listen to your Doctor. He probably knows what hes talking about. Third: 2 weeks isnt' really that long right?!?!?!?. what is 2 weeks in comparision to 20. right?. Fourth: Listen to your Husband he really just loves you. wait did I already say that. I should have listened to you Scott. Love Love.

So I should have listened to Scott and my Doctor. but I can't lie the beach was really really fun :) and so was doing a little shopping and BBQ on the 4th. So I end saying this.

I KNOW I CAN....I KNOW I CAN....I KNOW I CAN!!

Baby Update

It has been a while since I have done a baby update so here we go. I'm now 33 weeks pregnant, and the baby is growing and doing great!! about 3weeks ago we went into the specialist and they measured the baby and this little one was measuring 4 Lbs and about 16 inches. so it makes me wonder how big this little one is now!!!!
As for Bed rest:

We are done this weekend, well we actually get the stitch out in 2 1/2 weeks but a while back the doctor told me I could get the stitch out the week after the 4th of July but then must have forgot because he postponed it a full week later so I'm just sticking with what he told me in the first place!!! I can't wait to hit up the beach this weekend for the 4th!!!
I only have to get 1 more Progesterone Shot AND
I graduated from the specialists office and don't have to go back to see them until our next pregnancy.

So out little one is very shy and is also getting so big and smashed that we haven't been able to get a good ultrasound picture. So I here are some pictures of our little one from the outside.

I know I look so hot in these pictures. Scott was only willing to take one picture ha ha so this is what we got :) It was very late at night and I was just about to go to bed so don't judge :) plus I'm pregnant and don't look glamorous all the time :)

I'm really excited to be almost done, but nervous at the same time. I hate how uncomfortable it is having a baby take up all the space in my stomach and back and sitting on my nerves but I'm not sure how I'll feel with a baby that we will actually have to take care of, our lives are totally going to be 100% different in just a couple weeks.

It really has started to hit me knowing that in a few short weeks we will have a little baby here to take care of. I was thinking about it and I haven't done any birthing classes, I haven't toured the hospital, I haven't gotten any bags packed or thought of what I need at the hospital. I don't have anything for the baby besides a crib, pack and play, and changing table, and our stroller BOB. I just don't know what to think or do. Anyways I just have been thinking that in a short 2 1/2 weeks we could have a baby anytime. its crazy and exciting all in one.

let me know of any tips that you may have for Scott and I as we get closer to having the baby, anything that you have loved having with your newborns and baby's and kids. I know we went through all of this with Joseph but that was just so different, and so unplanned and unexpected and we didn't get to take him home so it was fine that we didn't have anything and didn't know what we were doing. I just can't believe were so close to being done.

Both Scott and I are very excited to have this little one here with us and I seriously can't wait to find out whether this little one is a boy or girl......I'm just dying to know!! Plus I'm tired of calling the baby, IT or LITTLE ONE or BABY. I can't wait to hear your advise!! Thanks :)

See what I mean by were a little crazy. Scott and I just adopted a little chihuahua Raylee.

We have been thinking for a while to get billy a friend but with a new baby coming we decided that we just couldn't do the whole potty training thing and bed rest and a new baby, and a new doggie so billy has just been alone.
when we moved to our new house billy actually made a friend!!!! a Black cat name F#@%er. Yes the cat is named a very bad name. billy and the cat loved each other. Well the cat moved last weekend and billy just sits by the door and whines to go outside to play with his friend. It is actually really sad.
anyways long story short, our next door neighbors boyfriend was needing to give away his puppy so Scott and I said, well lets adopt him and try it out.

So we have Little Raylee. so far billy has loved him and they are really good friends. Wish us luck.

I knew that my 100th post would be a good one!!!

Scott was such a great husband and got me an in-home pregnancy massage!!!!! HE IS SO WONDERFUL. Love you sweetie. It was seriously so nice. The baby is sitting in my back and sitting on some nerve or something so but my back always hurts. It felt great to get my lower back worked on. I'm getting another one on Saturday and can't wait!! but yes I just wanted to brag about my husband and how wonderful and sweet he is to his, sometimes crabby but usually happy :), pregnant wife.

This part is for all you husbands/boyfriends: GET YOUR WIFE/GIRLFRIEND A MASSAGES. THEY DESERVE IT!!!! :) Have a wonderful weekend!!

I love where I live.
So I get to go to the hospital 2 times a week to monitor the baby to make sure this little one is doing ok. So while I am hooked up to the monitors I am able to just sit and read, and then of course the nurses always bring me a yummy Drink and then I just sit and have an amazing view and read and I don't get bothered, it is so relaxing! Sometimes these monitorings are fast like 15 min and other times it is rather long like 1 hour. Honestly I don't mind when the appointments are long I really like having the view of the ocean rather then the view of a tv :)

I thought I would share the view with everyone!! I am so happy that I get to deliver the baby at Hoag. It is the best hospital ever.

Baby Update

Baby update, this little baby is doing so good!!! were now 28 1/2 weeks prego. Everything is going really really good! The baby is normal size and everything and doing just perfect. At our last ultrasound apt we found out that the baby is swimming in less then the normal amount of amniotic fluid so we have been going and doing this fetal monitoring. It is great we go twice a week and the people just listen to the heart and make sure the baby is liking its living quarters :) The cool thing is that I go to Hoag to do the monitoring and I just sit and look out the window at the harbor :) It is nice! So far the baby is loving where it is currently living :)

As for how I'm doing I'm super excited that we only have 8 more weeks until we get this stitch taken out and I'm free to do WHATEVER I want!! I can't wait. I have been enjoying watching Friends, scrap booking.... and Scott has been working on making our new little house a home!! It is looking so good so far :)!

One of the things he is doing is turning our back yard into a little Oaisis. He went to the gardening store to pick up some plants and has been digging up the dirt so that we could mix in the good dirt! While he was digging he found a little surprise. Under the dirt is lots and lots of Lava Rocks. So that has been a little set back but eventually it is going to be so amazing! I'll put pictures up when it is done!! also pictures of the house are coming soon!! WE LOVE OUR NEW PLACE IT IS AMAZING!!!

Scott and I have MOVED.....We didn't move far from where we were at before but we

upgarded!!! We went from a 2 bedroom town house to a 3 bedroom town house. I Love it!!! Also the thing about moving on bed rest is i did NO moving or lifting or any work what so ever, it was rather enjoyable:), Good thing for big strong husbands!! Scott was awesome and got us moved in

2.5 hours. Also a huge shout out for everyone who helped us move.

10 weeks down 13 to go. I don't think I have EVER been so Board in my life. So if anyone has some suggestions to help these next 13 weeks go by faster then the first 10 weeks I would love love love.....LOVE to hear them. books, sewing, anything you can think of that you can do while laying on the couch... I'm seriosly all ears,well eyes, and would love suggestions....peferably something that doesn't use the tv or computer would be best. since

4D Ultrasound

Here is our little one!! 4D Ultrasounds are amazing! We went into our Ultrasound apt that we get every other week and were given a HUGE suprise. Our awesome Ultrasound tech did a 4D ultrasound!!! It was so amazing to see our little baby and what she/he looks like. I almost started crying because it was so amazing to see how beautiful and real this little baby is. It was fun to see the baby moving around and drinking and being very shy, she/he didn't want to show its face but we got a few super cute looks. So right now the baby is 1.5 Lbs and 12 inches long heart rate 149, so everything is perfect. I swear this was so amazing I am so happy that our ultrasound tech did these pictures for us. Being high risk has its perks!! We love this cute little Kate Helen or Andrew Scott!!

Every year all the girls in my family try to get together for a fun weekend. It is known as the GIRLS TRIP. No kids allowed just us sisters.

Today Scott and I had a not so funny April Fools day prank pulled on us. What made it so bad was it was our BABY that did the PRANKING.....yes that is right our own sweet little innocent child that is in my womb decided to play a prank on us today that sent us rushing to the hospital.
Our sweet little one is doing AMAZING!! We had a bit of bleeding and the baby was just really low I was nervous because things weren't feeling normal. I called the Doctor and he told me to go straight to Labor and Deliver. I'm not sure what was up but everything looks really good now!! I think it was the worst April fools day prank I'm ready for today to be over and to have No more Pranks!! **thanks for all your prayers everyone** It was funny because scott called a few people to let them know what was going on. Then we started getting tons of texts and phone calls saying "this is not a funny April fools joke to be playing" scott had to respond to people telling them this was no joke haha.

Ok here we are 20 weeks prego. Baby is doing good I can already tell that this little one is going to be a pro Swimmer and Water Polo player. I feel this baby every day kicking and moving and exercising like crazy, Its alot of fun! Scott was also able to feel the baby kick or move or do something last week which was so cool, He is so cute and is going to be an awesome dad. Were half way there and can't wait for this little one to come. I can't wait only 17 more weeks to go of Bed Rest and then the baby will be here shortly after that!

Today Scott and I had an ultrasound and it was so much fun!! last time we saw the baby I believe we were only 12 weeks along and WOW has this baby grown! we were able to see the baby Stretching, Drinking, Waving, and Moving all around.

Oh I love this little one it is so cute and has so much personality already.

While they were checking the sex of the baby we had to look away and close our eyes so we wouldn't find out whether it was a boy or a girl, I will have to say it was so hard not to look! we are so excited to have this little one BOY or GIRL

Scott and I are currently Picture shopping. We want to find a Picture of either the temple that we got married in, Rexburg, or the Newport Beach temple. As I was searching the internet I found this picture. I absolutly LOVE Greg Olson. I think that his paintings are amazing and they tell such amazing stories. When I saw this picture I started bawling I don't know if its my pregnancy hormones or just the emotions of loosing Joseph or maybe both. This picture to me captures everything about our little Joseph. I love it and its a beautiful picture. I think This will be one of our picture purchases and will go in the babies room. Neither Scott or I feel like we should put pictures up of Joseph but I have been wanting to have something up that reminds me of him. I think this picture is just what I need. It will also be an easy way to tell our kids, when their a little older, about their older brother and what he is doing now and who he is with. . Right now while the baby is still so little the picture will be for me so I will have peace and comfort while holding my new little baby. I will know and i'll be able to see my son and who he is with. I want to make sure that this little baby isn't a replacement for Joseph and I think having that picture in the babies room will help. We still need to find a Temple picture though so if any of you know of a good site to find Temple Pictures Scott and I would love to know.

Thanks for all your support guys. Can I say, I LOVE Hotel I mean Hospital Hoag!

I was very lucky and had nurses that looked out for me and got me only the best room!I had a million dollar view it was amazing!!! I had an ocean view and a corner room so it was huge!! We were planning on getting dischared around 6:00 pm but I was having some really bad contractions and also the spinal tap hadn't worn off yet making it so I couldn't walk. I was a site to see when they told me I had to get up and try to walk and use the rest room. It felt like I didn't have legs, it was a really weird feeling. As 6 had come and gone the dr told the nurses that we were going to have to spend the night so I could be monitored. They didn't want the the contractions to get wores but if they did I would be there in the hospital and they could take care of and problems.

They moveed me from my grand Ocean View suite to the next floor up where I then had a view of the other side of the hospital, that wasn't such a grand view but oh well it is a hospital not a hotel right. By morning I didn't have as much pain and the dr came in to talk to Scott and I. He told us we coudln't take any more pain pills and if I start contracting again then they will have to take out the stitch that was just put in place. That is something we don't want so that means we are on some pretty strict bed rest.

So as of now I am at home board ON my butt and I can't do anything untill I talk to my dr and he checks everything out.

Plus by the way I have the most amazing husband!!! Scott did everything for me and is still doing everything for me. He is so amazing and so far is loving taking care of me while I can't do anything. We will see how long that last :) Thanks again guys and if any of you have fun ideas of things to do on bed rest I would love to hear them:)

Amys Surgery Update

Ok Amy's surgery was today. We have been getting lots of calls asking how it went. Well we have come across a few little complications. I just ran home to get some stuff and am just about to head back to the hospital to be with Amy. I am going to make this a fast blog. But this way you all aren't wondering why we haven't called you back yet. We showed up at 10:30 am and the surgery was scheduled for about 12. During the surgery she started feeling everything they were doing and that wasn't good. They had to stop, remove all the surgical stuff and redo the spinal tap. The anesthesiologist said that in his entire career of over 25 years he has never had to do a spinal tap twice. So that was weird. We were told that the recovery is usually about 2 to 3 hours even with two spinal taps and that she wouldn't have any real pain because of the surgery. Well 6 hours after the surgery she had still not regained movement of her lower body and she was experiencing some major pain and contractions. On a pain scale of 1 to 10 she was saying it was a 7 to 8. The pain seems to be getting worse also. We thought we would be home by 3 or 4 at the latest today. We are now spending the night at the hospital. We are hoping the pain and any contractions slow down and stop. If things go the way we hope they do then we will probably be home before noon tomorrow. Valentines Day Scare.

Valentines is usually full of Flowers and Love and Candy and Kissing and Loving. Last year Scott made me a Beautiful Breakfast. French Toast and ham and bacon and eggs. The cute thing was he made everything like a heart. Sadly we weren't married yet. So this year I was so excited I was going to make Scott the best breakfast in bed ever!!!! Just as I was about to go to the Store to buy the supplies to make Valentines so wonderful I started having some small contractions. They slowly got worse and worse. I told Scott and we called our Dr. I felt bad because it was like 8:30. We told him what was going on and he told me to go to the ER to get an Ultrasound to make sure everything was OK. We waited in the waiting area for about an hour. The contractions staying the same. They finally let us into a room. We got some blood tests done and also an ultra sound and everything was just fine. I'm not sure why I was contracting. We were finished up with the Ultrasound and by 10:30-11:00 ish yet we didn't get to leave the hospital until 3:00 am. Scott and I turned and looked at each other with grouchy faces and said Happy Valentines. We were both sooo tired and upset that we were still there.
We finally left and as we were getting discharged the guy letting us go went over a couple things. Like I needed to call my Dr. to tell him I was here. Also if the pain got worse to call him and go into his office. He also Said, "Now it looks like your HCG levels are really high in your blood." We said uhh thanks and left. As soon as Scott and I got out outside we started busting up laughing. I don't think they realized I was Pregnant or something. The HCG level is the level of the hormone the baby gives off. So if your HCG level is high then that jsut means you are pregnant. The ER Dr. also prescribed me some med. and then said, "oh wait your pregnant you can't take that so take this one instead." When we got there Scott knew the ER probably wouldn't understand my condition because they don't see it often so when the Dr came in Scott wasn't hesitant to basically just tell the dr what we needed to do. Scott said, "We need to just get in an have an ultrasound to check the length of the cervix" Scott said "I will be able to tell if its made any change from our last ultra sound. If its long then we are ok. if its shorter than the last time we saw it then we need to get on the phone with our baby specialists right away for an emergency cerclage surgery" Way to take charge babe. We sure love our hospital but after that experience I'm not sure we can ever really trust the knowledge of the ER Doctors. It was pretty funny. But there went our Valentines. I didn't get breakfast for Scott and he didn't get me anything. Sunday morning I tried making up for it and made breakfast in bed so its the thought that counted right?!? I hope you all had wonderful and eventful Valentines Day!!

Disappointment....Happiness

So I was supposed to have my cerclage put in tomorrow....BUT my Doctors nurse didn't call the specialist in time to get it set up for the 16th. I'm pretty bummed so I am getting it put in on Tuesday I think its the 23th. I am getting a little bit nervous since i'll be 15 weeks and the surgery is supposed to happen between 13-14 weeks. The Dr. thinks every thing will be fine. I've been a nervous reck. We have already gotten 2 emergency ultra sounds because I was having some contractions and we needed to make sure the cervix wasn't opening/thinning. I think I am going to go crazy!!! I can't wait to have the peace of mind of having that cerclage in place and then I KNOW this baby isn't coming untill the due date!!! I will also have ultra sounds ever two weeks and a Dr apt ever two weeks. I will have nothing to worry about. Now I just have to stay calm and be patient untill I get the surgery next week. Here are some picture of how the baby is growing... we find out in about 3-5 weeks what the babys sex is. Boy or Girl the baby will have alot of friends and cousins :)

To answer my wonderful question YES GROUNDHOG DAY DOES HAPPEN IN CALIFORNIA.
Ever since Groundhogs day it has been POURING rain. I feel like I live in Washington or something. Not only has it been POURING but it has been FREEZING...I have had my heater on. I hope that this passes because I'm tired of feeling like I live in Washington. I want to feel like i'm living in California because I DO. I'm ready for it to be in the 80's again no more of this 50's stuff it is just too cold.

Baby Joseph

We just found out the design of Josephs headstone is done. I am SO excited its finally finished and i think it turned out great!!! Usually a person would only think of what would go on their own head stone or their spouses or maybe a parents. It was a little hard thinking of what to put on our babies. I never thought about it before. I knew I wanted it to say Families are Forever because I know Joseph will always be our baby, and big brother to his siblings. Scott and I wanted more then that but didn't know what to say. We were looking around at all of the things we got from family when Joseph passed away to try to find something. Scotts sister, who is an amazing artist, drew a picture of Josephs hand reaching up to christs. She put a poem and a scripture on it. The scripture was 2 Nephi 1:15 "I am encircled about eternally in the arms of his love."

When Scott and I read that we knew that was what we wanted to put on his headstone. It is just so true. Joseph right now is encircled in the arms of Heavenly Father. It is so hard to have Joseph away from us but I feel so blessed that we have another little one on the way. I am going in on Friday to talk to the specialist and to schedule my appointment for surgery. I am hoping we can have the surgery Feb. 14 or the 15. I have a good feeling it will work out ok and that we will be welcoming a new little baby girl or boy in July or August!! We will keep you updated on when i will have the surgery and when the good old bed rest starts!! Keep us in your prayers.

Shooting Anyone?!?

Scott works at the BEST firm ever. They always are doing so many fun things. The Turkey Shoot is every year in November. We just got these pictures back. Last year I didn't know how to hold the gun and got a massive bruise on my shoulder. I think I had it for a month or more. IT WAS HUGE. This year I was a little nervous to shoot but I had some good instruction and made it out with not even a sore shoulder. It was alot of Fun. Next year Scott and I plan on bringing our own guns and equipment...

Thanks HSNO that was alot of fun!! We can't wait for next year!! One side note Scott just beat me by a couple of points. I will have to say I am pretty good with a Shot Gun.

So I have been FREAKING out now that I am pregnant. I see all of this baby stuff and I get so excited!!! I love babies. My sister Marianne just had her little baby, and my sister Jane is maybe going into labor TODAY!! So I have been so exicted that I am expecting this little one!!! I have been so excited that I have been making all sorts of stuff!!! I got together with some of the cutest girls ever to have a sewing night!! We learned how to make burp clothes. Well because I'm so smart I bought the wrong thing and had to make shift my own kind of burp cloth. I also didn't wash it before hand and the white fabric shrinks ALOT... so we will see how it turns out. It is actually a gift for one special girl. wether she is having a boy or a girl she will get this 27 ply burp cloth.

Second we learned how to make hooded towels for babies. They were alot of fun. Luckly I did buy the right material to make these which I am so happy about. They turned out SO CUTE I can't wait to use them.

I love this monkey towel,more than the yellow towel. It took alot longer for me to make this too because I had to do some extra cutting and sewing to get the monkey on the hood. Thanks to Julieanne and Sister Kettley It turned out wonderful!!! I can't wait for our next sewing get together. We had a blast!! Plus I always love trying to make new things.

Bed Rest Activities

Since I will be going on bed rest I have been trying to think of things I can do for 6 months.

I went over to my friends house a few weeks ago and they were busy hand stitching some stockings. Each stocking takes anywhere from 40-70 hours to make. They are so cute and it will be perfect while I'm on bed rest and can't do anything else. I went home and ordered 2 to start off with. When I'm almost finished those then I am going to order 2 more. One for Joseph and Billy. They are so cute and just came in the mail a couple of days ago I can't wait to get started!!!

The Wonderful Perks...

Sleeping all day long because being Pregnant takes all the energy out of you!!

Being able to be a Cranky and not getting in trouble because come on I have so many hormones going through my body right now!!

Bed Rest for 6 months!! think how relaxing that is no cleaning or cooking or doing laundry for six months!!

Finally getting to read Twlight!!

There are so many Wonderful Perks of being PREGNANT!!! Right now I am enjoying many of them!!

Yep Scott and I are pregnant. We are some where between 7-9 weeks

Yes I am showing a little bit already. We can't wait this little one will be born sometime in Aug. We go in for surgery in a few weeks. That will hopefully make it so that we carry this baby full term. Scott and I are so excited and can't wait!!! I know that Joseph is excited to have a brother or sister too!!

WE ARE JUST SO EXCITED!!! I can't believe that baby # 2 is already on its way!!

its Christmas time!

Scott and I had a wonderful Christmas!!! we had a blast. we had Scotts parents come and stay with us. It was alot of fun too bad Scott and his Dad got sick. We all got loaded with gifts!!

Scott got an Ipod tough. 32 GB which he had no idea he was getting!

Amy got a trunk from Crate and Berrel!!

Scotts parents got a 42 Inch vizio tv.

Santa also delivered a few other things but these were the main gifts. Christmas was a blast and we can't wait for next christmas!!! oh I also got the Twlight series from my sister Micaela. which was what I got from our secret partner party. While Scott got Seinfield season 1-3 from Melissa from out secret partner party. we had so much fun. One last thing Marianne and Greg welcomed their son Christian Silcox to the world December 28, 2008 6lbs 7oz. We are so excited for them I bet he is a total cutie!!

Kiser Christmas Party

We had a wonderful Christmas. Scott and I went up to Utah the weekend before Christmas for the annual Kiser Christmas Party. IT WAS A BLAST! These pictures are of the cousin party. Gingerbread Houses!

We had a couple friends over last Thursday night to make Gingerbread Houses and watch the office. It was really fun. Sadly Janis and Tyler,one of the couples there, had to leave before we were all finished and before we thought about whipping out the camera so we didn't get a picturewith them in it or of their finished project :(. Here our Jeff, Camille, Scott, and my mad Gingerbread house making skills!! this was alot of fun.

oh it was such a big mess but totally worth it. we had frosting EVERYWHERE. Our dog billy was so happy we made these because he ate everything that fell on the floor,which was alot! This was seriously so much fun we will for sure do it next year.

Creativity gone astray

For Christmas I decided that I would make stocking for everyone in my family, I talked all about them in an earlier post. One for Scott, Amy, Joseph, and Billy. Being the creative person that I am, ok I'm actually not creative at all but I do like to try, I decided to make billy a special bone stocking, seeing that he is a dog and dogs don't wear stockings. I thought making a bone would be much more suitable. I also wanted his to be a little bit different from the rest of the families since he is the dog.

I sat for hours sketching out the bone, made sure I sewed it straight, I also tried to make it look more crafty by sewing half of it white. I finally finished after about an hour and a half of sketching, cutting, pinning, bleeding, and sewing. I was so excited and yelled down to Scott who was working to come up stairs and check out Billys stocking..... "It looks like a baby outfit." those were the first words out of his mouth . ARE YOU SERIOUS!!

Back:I will have to say I agree with Scott on this one it looks like a baby outfit especially the back. So maybe my creativity wasn't at par this time but who knows what the future may bring :)

This stocking will now become a fun toy for billy to play with and destroy. As for myself I am going to sew him a regular stocking that will match everyone elses, even though he is a dog and doesn't wear stockings. Merry Christmas

Our perfect little man.

When Joseph was born this wonderful woman, I'm not sure what her name is, offered to make hand and feet prints of Joseph. She told us it usually takes between 6-8 weeks for them to become complete. She also told us they would be delivered to our Drs office. A couple of days ago I got a call from my Drs. office saying that Josephs feet and hand prints were done and waiting for us to come and pick them up. I was so excited to go pick them up and today I had time to do it. They turned out amazing!!! I am going to say we have the sweetest little guy out there. Were really sad that we wont be able to spend christmas with him in our arms but we know that he will be with us in spirit. He is our perfect little man.

I am so proud to be Josephs mom and Scott is so proud to be his dad. We love and miss our little guy and can't wait for the day to raise him. He is so precious.
I am so glad to know that families are forever and we are so gald that Joseph was sent to our family. I couldn't ask for a more perfect little man. I will have to say it has been hard as Josephs due date slowly sneaks up on us, he was supposed to be born December 28, 2008. What really helps me through these hard days is knowing that we are an eternal family. We miss our little Joseph but were glad for the time we spent with him and were so greatful for the woman who spent her time and efforts in making these feet prints for us. Merry Christmas everyone we love you and thank you for all of your support these past couple of months. One thing about Joseph is that he had my hands :). I think it is crazy that at such a young age you can tell what part of your child came from you and what came from your husband. I wanted to let everyone see how little his hands were in comparrison to his moms. When Scott and I were with him in the hospital we would hold his little hands and touch his little toes. Josephs whole hand fit over my index finger. He was so small and precious. I am go gald that we have these prints of his hands because that gives us something earthly that we can hold on to. Also the braclet that I am wearing is something that I always wear. The main charm is a heart with two smaller hearts in it. I like to think the big heart is Scott's, middle size is mine and the smallest one is Josephs. My sister Natalie gave me that braclet when she came down for his funeral. I love all the reminders I have of Joseph and I am really so greatful that we have a perfect child. we love you Joseph.

Christmas Stockings!

I have been loving my early Christmas present (sewing stuff). I have been like a mini Martha Stewart and it has been really fun. I have always wanted to make my own Christmas stockings so I have decied to just do it. I started making the stockings on sunday. I'm making one for Scott, Joseph and myself. Scott and Joseph's are finished but I am still working on mine. Actually I am not all the way finished with any of them because I want to put our names on each of them. Scott's is first, his is green with red, mine is red with green, and Josephs is red snowflakes. I think his turned out the best. I am not as pleased with how Scott's or mine turned out. I want them all to be perfect just like Joseph's.This one is Joseph's! I am very pleased at how it turned out. To me it looks like one you could have bought at the store. Nothing less then perfect for my little angel.

This is Scott's. I think it turned out really well but I am going to redo it only because I think it can be better but not to shaby for my fist one. I had a picture of mine up but it got deleted. I'm going to redo it anyways so i will post a picture of it redone!!!

This has been way fun. I am now a total fan of sewing!! Who would have ever guessed and it is really easy. I have never really done any sewing before. I have only made one other thing a queen size quilt for my cute niece Claire for a young womens project. Anyways I feel really proud I actally made something that looks really good on a sewing machine!! Yeah I love Christmas and making stuff!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Scott and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We were invited to Scotts bosses house and the dinner was wonderful. It was very nice to not have to cook, Thanks Ede. Before and after dinner we looked through the paper to see if there were any good deals that were worth waiting in line all night for. I love finding good deals and the day after Thanksgiving sale is always the best. After not finding anything to amazing we decided we would go out shopping but just for the fun of it, but not to buy anything, is that possible? Well a few good deals later we had spent way to much money but I am super stoked!!!!! I got the most amazing gift for Scott, and I got a bunch of sewing stuff. I'm going to make our christmas stockings and some other fun stuff, i'm super excited. I'll post pictures of my sewing set up later it is awesome!!! We're both super excited to invite the christmas spirit into our home! I love chrismas it is my all time favorite holiday. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Ok so I am just sitting here at work and thinking, "I have the best husband ever" so I thought I would write a blog for him!!! right now Scott is gone on a business trip and so I have been home alone and it has been quite lonely. I just really love my smokin hot Husband. I was also looking at our wedding pictures and I think it is crazy we have been married for 8 months. sometimes i wonder where time has gone.

Oh I love being married to you Scott and I can't believe it has been 8 months wow. I know thats not very long but man we have gone through alot and it seems like yesterday we were opening up craigos, and trying to get everything ready to get married!!! It has been alot of fun today remembering our suprise honeymoon, which was amazing;), your suprise purposal. sometimes i forget that we are still newly weds and today has been fun thinking about all of those fun times, and it gets me excited to spend forever with you. I love you sweetheart and I know there will never be a dull moment with you. Thanks for all you do for me. I love you and can't wait for you to get back from your trip!!! xoxox

Grandmas are the greatest!!!

This weekend was so much fun!!! After Scott took me to see Wicked (see the post before this one) we went to Utah to see my Grandma. She was just diagnosed with a very aggressive brain tumor and might not live to much longer, but who knows miracles happen. It was so much fun to see grandma and talk to her she is really so amazing. It was sad because by the time we got there and were able to get to grandmas house she had already gone to bed and Scott had an early morning flight the next morning back to Newport. So he was not able to see her but I was able to stay for a few more days.

Months ago when I got married Grandma was so cute and came up with a couple of my aunts to my wedding in rexburg idaho in the Rexburg Idaho Temple.

On the way up they stopped to eat at one of mine and Scott's restaurants Craigos Pizza in Pocatello Idaho. We had just opened that location a few days prior. Grandma calls it Grekos for some reason, ha ha. Well anyways she really liked the food as most smart intelligent people do.

So back to the story. When I showed up at grandmas house she said, "Amy where is my Grekos?" and I laughed and said well i guess I will have to special deliver you some, and we both laughed and kept talking, after all Pocatello is like 3 hours away. After I left grandmas house I text Scott and said grandma really wants some Craigos Pizza. About twenty minutes later Scott(in Newport Beach California) with his way of doing thing called me and said he had pulled a few strings with a shuttle company In Idaho. There is a shuttle service that takes people to and from areas in Idaho and Utah. I guess he offered to feed everyone on of the shuttle if they would deliver some pizzas from Pocatello Idaho to Utah. Needless to say pizza from Grekos (AKA Craigos) would be delivered to Grandmas the next day at 2:00. I called Grandma up and asked her what her favorite pizza was and said delisious Grekos pizza is on its way, she was so excited!!! My flight was supposed to leave early in the morning before the pizza was delivered. Scott switched my flight so I could pick up the pizza and enjoy a special delivery dinner with my Grandma. The cool thing is it was still hot when we got it. It was so much fun. I am seriously so glad that Scott did that for me and Grandma. It was so nice to just be with her. My sister Jane and I were there for almost 2 hours eating amazingly good Grekos (AKA Craigos) Pizza and talking. We would have stayed longer but I had to leave to make my flight.

I have such a cool family and I love that I married Scott. I love how he takes care of me so well and makes sure I build memories with family. I am kinda jealous of Grandma because she will see and take care of my little Joseph while he is away from us. I know, what a dumb thing to be jealous of right. but at least I know Joseph is in good company with Grandma Kiser, Grandpa Driggs and soon Grandma Driggs. I love family and I love the gospel. It is so comforting knowing those we loose are up there waiting for us.

The most FUN weekend ever!!!!

Ok so I have the most amazing husband ever!!!! last weekend our business partner and his wife from Craigos Pizza come to visit us. Scott decided to suprise us with a nice dinner. I had no idea where we were going and really i didn't even know that we were going to a dinner untill like 10 min before we left. Anyways we went to this really REALLY good restaurant in hollywood called Musso & Frank Grill this is a really old restaurant that has really amazing food, it has been around for like 100 years and the menu hasn't really changed, accept for the prices. While we were enjoying dinner scott all of the sudden pulled out a piece of paper that was folded up and handed one to me and Jane, Scott's business partners wife. As i unfolded it I had no idea what this paper was untill I looked a litter closer and saw he was taking us to WICKED!!!! ok for all of you who know me know that I love wicked it is the most amazing play in the world, and i can't even believe that he suprised me with that.

I seriously love Wicked and I have been telling Scott how much we need to go and see the play, and i can't believe that he kept this a secret for like 3 months!!! this was so much fun!!

oh seriously i have the best husband ever this was so much fun!!!! I love suprises and this was seriously one of the best suprises ever besides our honeymoon suprise. and i would tell all of you that you NEED to see this play it is AMAZING!!!

Amy's father is a Utah State Representative and has just won his 4Th term for a total of 8 dedicated years to serve in the position. His responsibilities include serving as the Chair of the Transportation committee, sits on the Business and Labor Committee and Local Issues Task Force to name a few. PROP 8 WON!!!! YEAH ALL OF OUR HARD WORK PAID OFF!!!! were so excited!!! and also my dad REP. TODD KISER, won his election too he passed like 59% to 41% and pro 8 passed like 54% to 43% or something like that i can't remember the exact numbers but they were somthing like that!!! YEAH!!!

Joseph's Funeral

We just got the pictures back from our little boys funeral. I thought i would post a picture. We will add more tonight or tomorrow. Thank you again to everyone for your prayers and for everything you did to help us and comfort us. Amy and I are doing great. We have refocused our emotions to help pass Prop 8 in Ca. We are doing it in memory of Little Joseph.

a wonderful run

Toinght I decided after work that i wanted to go for a run up to Josephs grave. I wanted to also decorate his grave for halloween. Josephs grave is probably 3.5 miles from our house. I ran to the store first so that i could buy some flowers and some pumpkins. I wish i had brought my camera so i could have taken a picture of his grave but i didn't want to run with a camera. So as i was running my feet started to totally hurt, I have not really exercised or gone for a run since i had the baby, but i kept running and just figured I just had to get over the pain and keep running. And i had forgotten my phone so I couldn't call Scott to come and pick me up, so I figured better not look at the damage if I would just have to keep running. I finally got home and took off my shoes and i saw this....

it is a little sore and I will forsure have to wear bandaids next time but its not going to stop me from running I am totaly ready to get this baby weight gone!!

I thought picture was pretty awesome because my leggs look really skinny!!! thank you Grandma Kiser! It also really fun to go for a run and to go and visit Joseph it has been a while since I have been up there. OH and while I sitting my Josephs grave i saw all of thes little bunnies. It was so much fun.. some of you know where joseph is buried but everyone else i'll tell you. Joseph is buried in the childrens section of the semetary and so there are lost of flowers and stuffed animals and it is always full of color so it is really nice to have him in such a nice neighborhood. :) anyways when ever i go there are always loads of bunnies hopping around, probably because they have all the flowers they could imagen to eat. but I really love that there are bunnies hopping around the graves because I can just imagen if Joseph was alive he would chase the little bunnies all over and look at me and smile, ya know that cute little smile that little kids do when they are having so much fun. I know that when we have more kids we will always bring them to chase the bunnies and to visit their brother.

A throw of Ignorance

Toinght Scott and I decided that we would spend our evening standing on corners holding up signs saying "VOTE YES ON PROP 8!" as we were standing there we got lots of cheers and people honking in excitement and acceptance that we were out standing up for what is right!! Scott and I were standing with probably 10 other people from our ward everyone one with a sign in hand and on each corner at the interscetion there was a group of 10 holding up signs. As we were standing there all of the sudden we herd a yell and a splatter and as I looked at my feet i saw a broken egg and i looked up and there was a car driving by throwing rotten eggs at all of us but non of the eggs hit us!! they probably threw 5 or 6 eggs and no one got hit.

i thought that was really crazy because we were like 2 feet away from the car. we totally had a bubble around us protecting us. Heavenly Father is on our side. I will have to say it would have totally stunk if i got hit by that egg and i'm not even kidding it was right by my feet. the people who are against prop 8 passing are very rude and ignorant and should not throw eggs at people who stand on the corner. ya know you don't see us throwing eggs at them. plus who drives around with rotten eggs in their car??? any ways that is probably our most exciting news that we have lately, who know what tomorrow will bring!!!

My life after the baby.

So I have realized that life is crazy after having a baby, but not in the normal way obviously. So I have come to the realization that my life is a total rollercoaster!!! some times i have the most amazing highs and some of the most horrible lows, it is very crazy but totally normal. Today is a wonderful day!! I have been thinking about Joseph alot and going through pictures and remembering what a wonderful son he was. I have such a wonderful son and I am so greatful for how close he brought Scott and I together, and because of Joseph, Scott and I have now realized how important it is to have a family. I am really glad that Joseph was our little suprise honeymoon baby, if he wouldn't have come and if we would have followed our plan and waited 3 or 4 years to start our family we wouldn't have found out about my condition and it would have set us back in having children to raise that much longer. I am just so greatful for everything that has happened. Of course I wish that I was still pregnant but I am happy to know that I will be able to raise Joseph and that is really comforting.

One thing that I think is so awesome is seeing how much kids look like their parents. When Joseph was born the first thing that Scott and I noticed was that Joseph has my hands, my wrinkly grandma hands, and he has Scotts most handsome nose, my lips, and i wasn't quite sure whos ears he had. It was so much fun to see what Scott and I had created. I love my son and I am so greatful to be his mom. I am also excited to try again to have another little one, I am really greatful for doctors and insurance and all of this advanced med. with out it I wouldn't be able to have kids at all.

I love Joseph and I feel so proud to be his mom. I am so great ful that when we do have more kids to raise that they will have an older brother who will always be watching over them. Its nice to know that we have our little angle watching over us all the time. Joseph wasn't with us for very long but he has changed our lives dramatically and I know that he has changed lives of many other people. I Just am feeling so proud right now and I am always so proud to be a mom and to have such an amazing and such a perfect son. I know that life is never going to be easy and I know that a part of my heart will always be broken because so much of me was taken but for this moment in time I am greatful that I am having this positive outlook on everything. Who knows what tomorrow will bring but I don't even care about tomorrow because today is great and I have a great husband, a great son, I know that the gospel is true and that throught the attoinment we can all be healed. I am so greatful for Joseph, I miss him alot but I am so proud of him. Being a mom is one of the most amazing things that could have happened to me and as being a mom I am very proud of my son! I have a perfect child that i totally love so much. I hope everyone has a great day.

President Monson has asked that everyone in the church add on their blogs, facebook, etc. something about Proposition 8 in California. We must pass Prop 8. This is a proposition to the Constitution of California to define marriage between one man and one woman. The failure of Prop 8 to pass means more than just gays to be married. We will be adding a few websites to our blog that the church has prepared to help us with this.

This is very important. Important enough that Salt Lake had a special satellite broadcast to all church houses in California to encourage us to vote yes of Prop 8 and to do all we can to educate others to do the same.
